5th annual art show better than ever!
Once again, we didn't think it could get any better, and yet, it does. As most of you know, Lee DeMoss for the past five years has been painting and giving all proceeds to PASH.
Lee DeMoss donated 46 oil and water color paintings, all framed, matted and ready for sale. This year he did something a little different, in that he sold 32 of them but he also dedicated 14 for a silent auction. His paintings ranged from still life to landscape and everything in between.
He was also joined this year by a new artist, Joanne Brown, who, after seeing our billboard on Skyway, called PASH and generously donated 12 of her framed oil paintings of landscapes and animals.
Paula Schultz also donated a beautiful piece of photo art.
Bill and Sally Vertrees also donated a Burns Modern Art dog print for auction.
In addition, we had a large selection of vendors donating raffle prizes:
- Ace Hardware
- Baskin and Robbins
- Sierra Gem Jewelry
- Sam's Fantastic Hair
- Les Schwab
- Paradise Animal Shelter
- Skyway Feed & Pet
- Lucky Preston jewelry
For those of you who were unable to attend this year, please keep in mind that both Lee and Joanne are already working on next year's show. We are looking for other artists in our community to come forward to help PASH in their fundraising efforts.
We would also like to thank our two new town coucil members for stopping by - Melissa Schuster and Mike Zuccolillo, in addition to our outgoing coucilman, John Rawlings.
